Prenatal Yoga can help you prepare physically and mentally for the upcoming birthday. You can enjoy your ever-changing body by building strength and targeting muscle groups that need some extra attention.
Prenatal Yoga classes are designed to encourage expecting mothers connect with the mind-body experience in order to find greater freedom and joy during pregnancy. Appropriate for all 3 trimesters and all levels of experience.
Come for the benefits of a safe and challenging workout, leave with the bonus effects of mental and spiritual preparation. Childcare available for the Tuesday morning class (reservation required).
4th Trimester Yoga (Postnatal Yoga)
4th trimester yoga is designed specifically for women who want a mindful and effective approach to healing after birth. Learn how to safely restore your body to its optimal form while feeling supported and encouraged in your new role.
You’ll get a great balance of pelvic floor and abdominal muscle repair, core strength building, and the mental restoration that new mamas need. This class is the best option for new moms during the first few months after birth. It’s also the best option for mamas that are still working with pelvic floor issues, substantial Diastasis Recti (more than one finger wide/deep) or pain from Cesarean birth.
Childcare available for this class (reservation required) and brand new babes are welcome to stay in class with mom.
Mom Strong! (Postnatal/mixed level)
Mom Strong! is a traditional mixed level yoga class designed to step up the recovery and strength-building process. While there is still focus on healing and improving core strength and pelvic floor function, the class is best suited for mamas that have healed from birth and want to take the practice to a more challenging level.
Class is structured like a traditional Hatha/Alignment practice with fun and stimulating asana that will improve your overall fitness and attitude! Appropriate for all of the ladies regardless of how long it’s been since the birthday… come get Mom Strong!
Want to get some quality time in with your special person? We know it’s hard to find a class that’s good for both of you and maybe your person is intimidated by the whole idea of yoga.
This class offers a gentle yet challenging approach to the practice so that beginners and advanced yogis alike can enjoy doing yoga together.
Class is open to everyone! Appropriate for expecting mamas and still challenging enough for anyone else. It doesn’t matter who your person is… mom, sister, brother, best friend, partner, spouse, LGBTQ friendly. Childcare available for this class (reservation required).

Mommy and Me Yoga (Postnatal Yoga)
Want to get your yoga on but have a new baby or toddler? No problem! Mommy and me class is best for mamas after the first 6 weeks postpartum (and it’s never too late to get started!). The option to keep your little one with you during practice or let the bigger kiddos join the playgroup means it’s easier than ever to make time for a yoga practice. The yoga is for mama, but we get the babes involved when we can!
$12 single visit/$50 5 class pass.
Mommy and Me Yoga is held at Vitalize community studio 3474 S. 2300 E. #12. Wednesday 10-11 am.
