Alicia, our instructor, is so fabulous at what she does. When I became pregnant for the 1st time I started to research the best way to prepare your mind and mody for both pregnancy and delivery. One of the things I kept coming back to was this prenatal yoga class taught by Alicia. As I have done it I have found to be more patient with pregnancy pains, I have learned stretches and poses to help with my pain, and I am just learning about pregnancy and birth in general. I love how personal the class is, it helps you learn more and feel comfortable. In addition, Alicia really gets to know you and what you need. I love how I can ask her a question about anything and she has information to give me or a direction to point me in. This is one class I would recommend, and a teacher you need to have. Its even work driving the 35 minutes every week to her class for me from Kaysville.

I am so grateful that I found this place! Alicia is a great teacher and educator. I started coming during my second trimester and it’s helped me stay comfortable and more relaxed throughout my pregnancy. You can tell Alicia really cares about her students. I would highly recommend this studio to anyone looking for prenatal yoga!

Alicia and Utah Prenatal Yoga not only helped my body prepare for and heal from two pregnancies, she helped prepare and continues to strengthen my heart and soul for motherhood. Whether you are pregnant, immediately postpartum, or it’s been years since you had your babies, there’s an offering for you. I have found my home every Tuesday night with the Mom Strong class, and will keep going as long as she’s still offering it! I only wish I could take it 3x a week! Highly recommend!

Utah Prenatal Yoga is amazing. Alicia is so special, she is very intuitive and creates a good workout and relaxing environment for each client. She will change the class for specific needs of each client and help with modifications. I have enjoyed every class and am so impressed with not only her but all of the instructors she has teaching additional classes. I would highly recommend this place and feel so lucky I found her. I started taking virtual classes from the Utah Prenatal Yoga Studio when I was 13 wks pregnant...now I’m just over 30 weeks and feeling so strong! I’ve loved the community & the accessibility of the online classes, since I live about 45 minutes from Salt Lake City. Alicia and her team of yoga instructors are all so knowledgeable, kind and considerate of my growing belly. They are constantly offering up accommodations, challenges and positions to alleviate lower back pain and tightness in my hips. I take two classes a week and after every class feel incredible! I also love the ability to save some $$$ by buying a 10-class pass and the one time I had problems with a purchase Alicia responses within hours. Lastly, I was thrilled to know that they offer classes and support for after I have my baby, which I will be taking full advantage of. Utah Prenatal Yoga has been a total game changer for me and I HIGHLY recommend it!!!

I thought online would be weird but I actually liked it better than in person! It wasn’t intimidating because you know that no one is watching you except the teacher! The teacher watches and does corrections as needed just like a normal class. We talked and got to know each other before and after the class too which still made it personal. Absolutely LOVED! ❤

I’ve taken Alicia’s prenatal and 4th trimester classes for both of my pregnancies and they’re awesome! She is so kind and I always feel so calm and refreshed afterwards. The prenatal class was a great way to prepare for birth both physically and mentally. The 4th trimester class is gentle, informative, and laid back. It was so much fun to bring my baby to. I’ve done the classes both online and in person. They’re both great!

I absolutely love doing yoga here. Alicia is so wonderful and kind. The things I learnt in prenatal yoga classes were invaluable in allowing me to have two beautiful birth experiences, and the community and support in the 4th tri classes are amazing.

I’ve been going to yoga classes for years and I have found Alicia to be the most balanced in her teaching. I can tell because I feel balanced and calm after each class. In pregnancy I’m preparing to tolerate pain and ask for support and in each of our classes I’m being taught skills, techniques and current education how I can best achieve my goals. The studio is always clean and all my yoga materials are set up for me before I arrive.I am loving my experience at this specific studio ❤️

I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Utah Prenatal Yoga during this pregnancy! Alicia has a mellow and calming style of teaching that is super contagious. I get a great workout, but also I get a clearer perspective on my pregnancy goals and how to help them come to fruition. Normally, I get a little giggly with the yoga lingo, but Alicia presents her classes in such a way that makes the giggles go away. You will NOT regret practicing at this studio!

Alicia’s fourth trimester class is wonderful. We focus on postures that aid the healing of our postnatal bodies while our newborn babies sit beside us either on a mat or in a car seat. Alicia creates a safe, supportive, non-judgmental environment that I truly appreciate as a new mom. She allows babies to cry during class and reminds us that it is a normal part of motherhood and to embrace it all!! Not only do I appreciate the yoga, but I appreciate the community of mothers she brings together. Her teaching style is authentic and her caring nature is genuine. I highly recommend this class!

Alicia is AMAZING! I started attending the prenatal yoga class at 17 weeks pregnant and have been going weekly since then. It’s the best decision I’ve made during my pregnancy. The class is welcoming, inclusive, and a wonderful environment to connect with other expecting moms—all while taking care of your changing body! I look forward to the fourth trimester yoga class once baby comes. Thanks, Alicia, for offering this great community space and practice.
— Chelsea Gauthier
Alicia and her yoga space are incredibly welcoming. She has a real gift for guiding mothers-to-be through a yoga practice. Each week I leave class feeling encouraged, stronger and more ready to bring another baby into the world. I would highly recommend her classes for women any and all stages of pregnancy and fitness level. As someone who has tried to do yoga at home it makes a big difference to have a highly trained and knowledgable prenatal instructor! Unexpected bonus that I get to connect with other pregnant women each class.

This is by far my favorite yoga studio. Not only do I get to exercise safely while pregnant and post pregnancy but I also get to reflect on my life, motherhood, challenges, and joys. It has become a part of my weekly MUSTS as it really helps me physically and emotionally. All of the women who come here are amazing and I feel a part of a family.

I cannot recommend this studio for expecting moms and new moms alike. I love Alicia’s approach to new motherhood, abdominal muscle repair, and the sense of community she builds in her studio. Her 4th trimester class is the highlight of my week- and most importantly: Babies Welcome!

My beautiful pregnant wife and I went today for our first time. The environment was inviting, and she made us feel welcomed, and relaxed. We felt like we knew her for years because how friendly she was. Very good teacher, teaches you along the way so you understand why and what you’re doing. A great experience, we will be back.

I’m so happy that I found this yoga class. Alicia is extremely knowledgeable and truly cares about each person that walks in the door. By attending the prenatal class regularly I was able to gain peace and clarity that helped me through pregnancy and the birth of my baby. Classes are layered with physical movement as well as stories and themes that are supportive and build insight and confidence. Alicia is also well connected to many wonderful pregnancy support recources from research articles to doulas, and certified perinatal massage therapists. By attending the prenatal class I found myself connected to everything I needed to support me for an empowered pregnancy and birth experience. I couldn’t be happier with my experience at Utah Prenatal Yoga.

I have taken both the prenatal and the 4th Tri yoga class. Such a wonderful experience in both classes. The one on one attention is so helpful. The positive community that is cultivated truly makes this an excellent experience. I definitely recommend this to all pregnant persons and persons who have experienced any kind of birth.

Coming to prenatal yoga has been one of the best things I’ve done through my pregnancy so far! I’ve gained respect and love for my body and confidence in all that I’m capable of as a mother. I always leave class with my body feeling stronger, more comfortable, and relaxed. I can’t thank Alicia enough for the wonderful classes she provides. She is a very skilled, informed and qualified teacher that leads safe, appropriate and effective classes.

Utah prenatal yoga training was a life changing experience for me. Alicia’s passion for prenatal yoga pours out of her and makes her training the best available in the region. She has so much knowledge and insight to share with students. She has this incredible ability to spread her passion and her joy to those around her.The training takes an in-depth look into pregnancy and the birth experience and prepares any teacher — new or experienced, young or old, mother or not — to safely take moms-to-be into their own body, exploring poses and breath, during pregnancy.Be prepared to dive into your own birth experiences and to celebrate and embody the goddess within all women. You won’t regret it!
— Ashley Detrick
First time in a long while I’ve been able to fully clear my mind and focus on the practice. Alicia does an amazing job leading the prenatal class and making all skill levels feel welcome.
— Channing Howard
I’ve gone to Alicia’s yoga classes over several years, especially prenatal and 4th trimester (immediate postpartum) classes. She is incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, and creates a wonderful environment in her classes. I attribute healing my abdominal muscles (especially related to diastesis recti) to her guidance, starting from one week postpartum, long before most healthcare providers are ready to see you to start the healing process. I highly recommend her classes to all of my friends who are pregnant and postpartum.
— Yelena Wu
Love Alicia and I love this class!! Grateful to have access to an amazing class. She has also told me about many other resources.
— Cody Thorne
I attended prenatal yoga classes taught by Alicia and now attend the postnatal classes. Prenatal yoga was a huge benefit both physically and mentally. If I missed too many classes in a row, I would get increased aches and discomfort. Alicia’s stories and compassion for new moms made the classes emotionally uplifting as well, and the information made me feel more prepared to face labor and postpartum recovery. I can’t recommend these classes highly enough.
— Andrea Ramirez
Alicia is a great instructor! Intimate setting where you can receive personal feedback. She is great about working with all levels and at all stages of pregnancy! This is the place for me!
— Myriah Stockman
I tried SL prenatal yoga for the first time last week, and was really happy with the experience. It’s a small class, so it’s easy to get personal/one on one attention. It seemed like a good mix of stretching, breathing, pelvic floor exercises and mental preparation for birth. I’ll definitely be back!
— Sara Nowinski

— Melissa White
Peace, healing, connection with other moms. This class is so worth every effort to get here!
— Jane Day
I can barely begin to write in words how amazing this prenatal teacher training was. I have been a RYT for the past five years and a DONA certified birth and postpartum doula for three years. I left this training with a broad new understanding of the prenatal body, yoga during the childbearing year and such a deeper knowledge of yogic path. Alicia is full of knowledge and I highly recommend - no matter your background that she will help you gain more information that you thought possible. Alicia, OM SHANTI my path is so much brighter because of you!
— Destiny Olsen
